Hi and welcome to my page. I’m Wendy, a health coach that loves teaching how to use nature to really find your optimal health.
I’m really curious about how we evolved on this planet and what we might be missing in our health journey. These strategies are really simple but may not be easy to implement.
Why Circadian & Quantum Health
To me circadian and quantum health refers taking our cues for living well from nature. Taking notice of our environment, including day and night, hot and cold, light and dark and the seasons. Nature provides us with all the answers to keep ourselves healthy.
Why I became a Health Coach with a quantum edge
Our modern environment has taken us away from our evolutionary past and it’s making us sick. We spend up to 90% of our time indoors, under artificial suns, while fearing the real sun. Our natural way of being is to be thriving, full of energy, and loving life. We evolved with our bare feet on the ground and our eyes in the sunlight.
When you see the impact our modern environment is having on people, it is hard to unsee. I feel sad that we have forgotten how to heal ourselves with simple and do-able nature based strategies, including seasonal eating, sunlight, darkness, grounding and cold. We have been programmed to take the seemingly “easy” way out by expecting a pill to fix us. But the pill never fixes us.
We are getting sicker
- I see a massive gap between our modern healthcare system and our actual health.
- I see people on a treadmill of modern medicine but never finding the answer. Just suppressing the symptoms.
- I see more and bigger hospitals. A healthy society should need less. People should be on less prescriptions and needing less interventions.
- I see more technology taking over people’s lives.
- I see people struggling to get through the day without feeling exhausted or anxious.
- I see confusing messages about what is healthy and what is not.
We can change this, thinking differently about health, using nature as our yardstick, changing habits and doing the work.
This is where I come in as a Health Coach.
I see my role is to help people gain their health back by helping them implement simple nutritional and lifestyle strategies that are based on our ancestral past.
Including getting back into rhythm with the planet, eating food that improves your energy and vitality, providing strategies for improving sleep.
Prior to becoming a health coach I was a successful business analyst working for large private and public organisations. My driving force to change from this successful career to a health coach was my need to help people make real change in their lives.
My nutrition philosophy
Eating nutritious food is part of the foundation for optimal health and should be simple, easy and effortless. However, our nutritional information is sponsored by big food and diet culture, which makes eating confusing and is more a money making opportunity than making sure we are well fed. Convenience has also slipped in as number one reason for the food we eat, surpassing our need to actually nourish ourselves. You only have to go into a supermarket to experience this.
Our modern food beliefs
We have a lot of preconceived beliefs about food; fat makes you fat, fat will clog my arteries, eat less calories and move more, count calories, count macros, count points, red meat will give me cancer and heart disease, food needs to be bland to be healthy, food is either good or bad, scales will tell me if I’m good or bad. No wonder we are so confused about eating. This onslaught of messages has damaged our relationship with food. Do you think our ancestors held these beliefs? Their issue was scarcity, ours is too much abundance of cheap, fake foods disguised and promoted as real food.
We worry that if we eat good food we will never be able to go out and enjoy ourselves again. This is a strange paradox as eating fake food seems to be OK and healthy not so good, we think it will make us anti-social.
We are built to eat animal protein
We are built to eat animal protein, natural animal fats and unprocessed oils, seasonal and local vegetables and fruits, nuts and seeds, and unprocessed dairy. Foods that are grown or walked in the sunlight, that swam in the oceans, and grew in undamaged soil. Our opportunity is to learn how to source such great and nourishing food. Cooking our own food again. Getting to know and support our local farmers and shopping at local farmers markets is a great first step.
Food is stored sunlight
Food is also tied to the light story. The food we eat is stored sunlight and holds information about our light environment, telling our body how to process that food. This type of thinking takes us away from the diet dogma as we are following the rhythms of the earth.
When the sun and photosynthesis are strong during the light and hot summer months, there is abundance of plants and animals, including a large variety of vegetables and fruits. Spring and summer are times for outdoor activity, for being productive and for growth.
When the sun and photosynthesis are weak during cold and dark winter months, our choices for local produce diminishes. This is a time for healing and repair. Less activity, less but more nourishing food, more fasting. Unfortunately, in our modern world we never experience either darkness or winter.
My journey into Quantum and Circadian Biology
My natural inclination is to want to know how we really work, this is where the work of Dr Jack Kruse comes in. He is a disruptor of the whole centralised medicine world and a big influence on my philosophy. Dr. Jack Kruse is not only a neurosurgeon but an avid researcher that has joined the dots of nature with biology, through a science called Quantum Biology. His work has sent me on a journey into this fascinating world including research by; Doug Wallace, Nick Lane, Jacob Liberman, Weston A Price, Dr Satchin Panda, John Ott, James Nestor, T.S Wiley, Robert O Becker, LLoyd Burrell, Clinton Ober, Gerald Pollack, Roeland Van Wijk, to name a few.
Dr Kruse’s message about light, water, magnetism really resonated with me. The missing piece to the puzzle is that we have forgotten about nature. Food is but a tool, but nature is our foundation. Taking a quantum biology perspective teaches us how the body actually heals, repairs and grows through electrons, protons, photons, timing, sunlight, darkness, why eating in season and local is important, grounding, and water as a battery. Our body is a water battery charged by sunlight.
Quantum and circadian biology has really sparked my curiosity and there is so much to learn and experiment with. It sounds difficult but it is actually very simple to use nature as your yardstick. What would we have been doing before our modern conveniences?
In 2025 I completed my Applied Quantum Biology Certification which has allowed me to build a program around these quantum and circadian strategies.
Build a strong circadian rhythm
Building a strong circadian rhythm has profound impact on our health. We evolved on this planet with our head in the sun and our bare feet on the ground, experiencing true darkness, hot and cold, and eating what was local to us. But our modern world sees us living inside 90% of the time, under artificial suns and when we do venture outside we are wearing sunglasses, sunscreen, insulated shoes and clothes.
I believe in unlearning outdated paradigms and embracing ancestral wisdom to unlock our full potential.
Come on a journey with me
If you’re ready to challenge the status quo, embrace simplicity, and transform your health, join me on this journey. Together, we can reclaim our ancestral vitality and live in harmony with nature once again.
